This is a piece of solid mentalism that you can, and will carry in your wallet at all times. I’ll begin by
explaining what is possible with the card and then I’ll break down and explain each effect and finally I’ll
give you some ideas for routines including my actual routine where you read two spectators minds.

Here’s the effects that are possible with the card:

1) A spectator thinks of one of the four ESP symbols on the front of the card, you write down a prediction
on a business card and set it down on the table so you are committed. The assistant tells you which
symbol they are thinking of and they turn over your prediction themselves.

2) You try to transmit a number to a spectator, but being a mind reader you can tell they haven’t received
the number correctly. But you tell them you can put it right. You tell them how to adjust it so they arrive
close to the number you were transmitting. They look at the word that falls in that position in the terms and
conditions on the card and you are able to tell them what word they are thinking of. And it's not the same
word everytime either!

3) A spectator is asked to think of ANY word on the back of the card but to make it challenging they are
asked not to think of a little short word like “and” or “will”. You point out that there are over 120 words on
the card and more than half are long words – yet you read their mind and tell them the word.

4) You have someone insert the membership card into a deck of playing cards. You point out the four
diamonds (one in each corner on the front of the card) indicating the four of diamonds, they look at the
card they landed on and it is the four of diamonds. A cute card revelation you'll always have in your wallet
ready to go!

5) You explain that to keep non-members out the society has a strange system – they openly invite
people to visit, but they may only visit for an hour and the time is chosen in an unusual way. The spectator
makes a decision that will effect the outcome, yet the time they choose to visit is the one time of the day
that the society is closed for lunch (this closed time is printed on the card).

6) An old number force is turned into a miracle when a spectator correctly divines the fine due on an
overdue library book borrowed from the M.R.S. Library.

Any one of the M.R.S. card effects can be used solo, or you can use this to lead into your favourite book
test. Can be used close-up, or in a parlor situation. The card can be carried in your wallet and any of the
basic effects can be performed at the drop of a hat. Easy to do, quick to learn. Comes complete with the
